More on Housebound

I finished the first two books for my Housebound adventure. (I'm reading only the books already in our house for one year, except those ones I need to read for school, work, or research for a writing project.) I've written an essay about the first two, but I'm not going to post all the essays. I've almost finished the second set of books, Digging to America by Anne Tyler, and Álvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca's Chronicle of the Narvaez Expedition. I'll write a piece on them. Then it's on to the next ones: Wayne Johnston's The Colony of Unrequited Dreams and A Summer of Hummingbirds: Love, Art, and Scandal in the Intersecting Worlds of Emily Dickinson, Mark Twain, Harriet Beecher Stowe, and Martin Johnson Heade by Christopher Benfey. We have some very cool books around our house.
